Richard Fultz Anderson

Richard Fultz Anderson, 90, of Sac City, Iowa died on March 6, 2022, at Loring Hospital in Sac City. A visitation will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 at 10-11:00 a.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in STORM LAKE. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of arrangements. Richard F. Anderson was born on November 14, 1931 to Gordon Stewart and Daisy Eva (Fultz) Anderson in Newell, Iowa. He grew up attending school at Hayes and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Storm Lake. He worked as a farmer, then a school custodian until his retirement in 1995. Richard was united in marriage to Ardith M. (Gress) Plath on August 1, 1993 in Alta, Iowa. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ardith of Sac City, Iowa; children: Pam Corderman of Carroll, Iowa; Jeff (Barb) Anderson of Rockwell City, Iowa; Linda Winker of Lake City, Iowa; Jim Anderson of Rockwell City, Iowa; stepchildren: Cathy (Michael) Caruso of Silverspring, Missouri; Jim (Marcina) Hubbard of Spencer, Iowa; Debbie (Shawn) Fiene of Odessa, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; niece: Ann Hill; nephew: Paul (Dawn) Hill; special family: Lynn and Mike Egesdal; extended family and friends. Richard is preceded in death by his parents: Gordon and Daisy (Fultz) Anderson; sister: Dorothy (Leonard) Hill; and son-in-law: Larry Corderman.
