Mary Louise Moldovan

Mary L. Moldovan, age 60, of Storm Lake, Iowa died Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Newell Good Samaritan Society in Newell, Iowa. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. Burial will follow in the Storm Lake Cemetery. Visitation will take place Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 5-7:00 p.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements. Mary Louise Moldovan was born March 12, 1955 in Storm Lake, Iowa, the daughter of Lewis Russell and Ruby Nell (Austin) Moldovan. In her earlier years, Mary was confirmed and baptized at St. John Lutheran Church in Storm Lake. She continued to stay an active member there with her brothers, Cliff and Lewie. Mary grew up in the Storm Lake community where she graduated high school. Mary had fond memories of working at Ella’s Café with her best girlfriends: Gloria, Bonnie and Wanetta in her high school days. After graduation, she went on to work at Buena Vista County Hospital in domestic services. In 1980, Mary was united in marriage to Lyle Morse in Storm Lake. They were blessed with one daughter, Jessica Christine Morse on October 22, 1992. Mary was known for her beautiful smile and shy personality. She loved to cook for her family and friends and also caring for her cat, Smokey. Mary passed away peacefully. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Jessica Morse of Pocahontas, Iowa; siblings: Lewis (Pam) Moldovan of Sac City, Iowa; Clifford Moldovan of Des Moines, Iowa; Darlene Renshaw of Storm Lake, Iowa; Barb Wayt of Jensen Beach, Florida; nieces and nephews: Stephan, Jonathon, Elizabeth, and Hannah Moldovan of Sac City, Iowa; Chad Moldovan of Des Moines, Iowa; Christopher (Deborah) Renshaw and their children: Kaumudi and Devaraja of Florence, Italy; Leslie Wayt and her children: Conner of Jensen Beach, Florida and Gavin Oehler of Storm Lake, Iowa; Holly Wayt and her son, Tristan of Jensen Beach, Florida; Heidy Wayt and her son, Peyton of Jensen Beach, Florida; extended family and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Lewis; and sister, Linda.
