Linda M. White Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Linda White, age 59, of Waukegan, Illinois, formerly of Storm Lake, Iowa died on May 20, 2022, at Vista East Hospital in Waukegan, Illinois. Graveside services will take place Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Storm Lake Cemetery. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of arrangements. Linda White passed away May 20, 2022 at Vista East Hospital in Waukegan, Illinois, following a courageous battle with pneumonia. Linda was a real fighter, pushing through the struggles of living with Multiple Sclerosis for 22 years. Linda was born October 30, 1962 and raised on a farm near Storm Lake, Iowa. Linda graduated from Albert City-Truesdale High School, Albert City, Iowa. She always had a great appreciation for music, playing flute, participating in marching band, and singing in the choir while in high school. She also enjoyed gardening and country music. Linda attended Buena Vista University in Storm Lake where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Education. Linda enjoyed working at Buena Vista University and teaching college level classes in Spencer, Iowa. Linda was baptized and attended the Evangelical Free Church in Albert City for many years. She resided at Fonda Nursing and Rehab Center in Fonda, Iowa where she liked socializing with many of the residents and caregivers. The family would especially like to thank those at the center who compassionately supported and cared for her. Linda adored her family and enjoyed keeping up with the interests and accomplishments of her niece and three nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Betty (Berkler) White. She is survived by her sister: Brenda (Brian) Sawyer; brother: David (Lindsay) White; niece: Kenzie Sawyer; and nephews: Evan Sawyer, Dallas Sawyer, and Daniel White. Memorials can be directed to the family with a portion going to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
