Judith Cameron, age 76, of Alta, Iowa died on February 24, 2019 at her home in Alta. Graveside services will take place Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Elk Township Cemetery in rural Alta. A reception will follow at the Northwest Christian Church in Alta. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Alta is in charge of the arrangements. She was born September 11, 1942 in Cherokee, Iowa, the daughter of Vernon and Phyllis (Hartliep) Corrington. Growing up, she attended grade school and then graduated from Quimby High School in 1961. On December 31, 1972, Judith was united in marriage to Thomas Kay Cameron in Quimby, Iowa. Together, they were blessed with a daughter, Lisa Kay. Judith enjoyed being a homemaker as well as listening to audio books and the radio, spending time with her grandchildren and traveling to visit family. She was baptized in 1942 at the Quimby United Methodist Church in Quimby. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Lisa (Tim) Andersen of Cambridge, Ia, brothers; Vernon (Donna) Corrington of Williams, Az. and Dennis (Sue) Corrington of College Station, Tx, and ,grandchildren; Cameron and Corinne Andersen. Judith was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; parents, Vernon and Phyllis; sister, Connie Corrington.
