Jesus “Jesse” Arellano Jr., age 51, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died on February 23, 2022, in Storm Lake. Memorial services will be held Friday, March 4, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Storm Lake. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in STORM LAKE. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of arrangements. Jesus Arellano Jr., better known as Jesse to family and friends, was born on July 31, 1970 to Jesus and Tita (Oliveros) Arellano in Los Angeles, California. He was baptized as an infant. Jesus graduated high school from La Puente High School in La Puente, California. He obtained his bachelor's degree from California State Fullerton. Jesus worked as a Sherriff Dispatcher in California until he moved to Storm Lake to be closer to family. He currently worked at Ag Partners in the IT Department. Jesus is survived by his brother: Diego Rodriguez of Storm Lake; sisters: Beatrice (Luis) Vazquez of Storm Lake; Rosa (Alfredo) De La Cruz of Storm Lake; Marcela Rodriguez of Storm Lake; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Jesus was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Tita O. Arellano; sister: Maricela Rodriguez; grandmother: Marcelina Rojas de Oliveros; uncle: Manuel Oliveros; cousin: Victor Herrera
