Bonnie Goodman, age 80, of Storm Lake, Iowa died December 15, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Society in Newell, Iowa. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Storm Lake. Burial will be in the Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery in Storm Lake. Visitation will take place Monday, December 20, 2021 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in STORM LAKE is in charge of the arrangements. Bonnie Lee Goodman, the daughter of A.J. “Babe” and Mildred (Grieme) Schuler was born Storm Lake, Iowa on July 24, 1941. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Storm Lake. Her confirmation date was May 29, 1955. On December 8, 1958, Bonnie was united in marriage to Harlan Goodman at St John’s Lutheran Church. To this union five children were born: Natalie, Kelly, Sally, Penny, and Nicholas. For 28 years, Bonnie served as secretary for Piper Jaffrey until her retirement in 2001. She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed playing Bingo, attending bible study and spending time with her grandchildren. Most of all, family was important to Bonnie and she treasured their time together. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters: Natalie (Keith) Page of Alta, Iowa; Kelly (Virgil) Gaffey of Storm Lake, Iowa; Sally (Randy) Thompson of Alta, Iowa; Penny (Dan) Bonham of Marathon, Iowa; son: Nick (Danielle) Goodman of Alta, Iowa; grandchildren: Jennifer (Mike) Snedeker, Tony (Jessica) Kraft, Mandy Leonard, Matthew (Laura) Page, Randy Jr. (Ashley) Thompson, Justin Thompson, Tabatha (Josh Sr.) Frederick, Lynn (Tom) Hauser, Michael (Ali) Bonham, Elizabeth Goodman, Carly Walker, Jodie (Myron) Goodwin, Jason (Krystal) Page; 22 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; brother: Randy (Joy) Schuler of Storm Lake, Iowa; sister-in-law: Mary Goodman of St Louis, Missouri. Bonnie is preceded in death by her father, A.J. “Babe” Schuler and mother, Mildred Schuler; father-in-law: Richard Goodman; brother: Eddie Schuler; brother-in-law: Benjamin Goodman; great-grandson: Joseph Leonard; ex-husband: Harlan Goodman
