Amiyah MaKaylah Grisby, age 7, of Storm Lake, Iowa died on January 11, 2022 at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Hope Evangelical Free Church in Storm Lake. Visitation will be Friday, January 21, 2022 from 5 - 7:00 p.m. at Hope Evangelical Free Church. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of arrangements. On May 7th of 2014 at Chicago’s U.I.C. Amiyah MaKaylah Grisby brought joy to the lives of those around her. January 11th of 2022, at the tender age of 7, that joy was too soon turned into hurt as her young soul was called home. Although Amiyah had little time here on Earth her presence left an imprint that’ll last eternity. Amiyah had dreams of being the best dancer/cheerleader the world had ever seen. She was a very jovial kid who loved to eat, learn, dance, joke, laugh and have all the attention on her. Amiyah loved the colors sky blue and pink. Sometimes purple if she was feeling saucy. She loved to eat avocado, she’d peel it where she stood and just bite it. Amiyah loved to do Tik Toks and watch Spy Ninjas and Jojo Siwa. Amiyah was the oldest to two siblings. Her eldest instincts kicked in instantly when her siblings arrived, as she was a very nurturing, loving, and attentive big sister. Amiyah was survived by her parents (Philynnia McBride) and (DeAngelo Grisby). Her siblings (Amani and Za’dan Grisby). Her grandparents (Denise Lopiccolo) and (Patrick Haynes), (Charlotte Rogers), and (Jeffery Grisby). Her aunts and uncles (Diane Graham), (Phillip McBride), (Patriona Haynes), (Patrick Haynes Jr), and (Tiara Grisby). In addition to tons of relatives who loved her dearly.
