Terry Ray Miller

Terry Ray Miller, age 69, of Schaller, Iowa died on August 25, 2022, at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Schaller, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 9-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the CHURCH. Burial will be in the Schaller Cemetery. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of arrangements. Terry Ray Miller was born on February 12, 1953 in Storm Lake, Iowa to Leander and Marjorie (Keiser) Miller. He was baptized on February 24, 1953 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Schaller, Iowa. He was raised on the family farm outside of Schaller. Terry graduated from Schaller High School in 1971. After high school he started working at Hygrade Food Products in Storm Lake, where he made lifelong friends. He worked there until it closed in 1981. On September 15, 1979, Terry married Patty Wandrey at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Schaller. Terry and Patty made their home in Schaller where they enjoyed raising their two children, Lucas Lee and Samantha Rae. In 1982, Terry started working at Consolidated Popcorn in Schaller until it closed in 1988. In 1989, he landed a job with American Popcorn Company in Schaller. He worked there until he had to take an early retirement due to lung cancer. Terry loved to go deer hunting with his son, friends, and family members in Correctionville every year. He also loved riding on his golf cart with his best buddy Daisy. He enjoyed visiting with everyone, and he never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his parents: Leander and Marjorie (Keiser) Miller; parents-in-law: Bud and Pearl Wandrey; brothers-in-law: Will Webber; Wes Woodke; and his beloved dogs: Barney, Chloe, and Bandit Miller. Those left to cherish Terry’s memory are his wife, Patty of nearly 43 years and beloved dog, Daisy; son: Luke (Amy) Miller; daughter: Samantha (Scott) Corrin; bonus daughter: Mallory (Rick) Roling; grandchildren: Lexi, Kylie, and Caden Corrin; Madison Vanhoose; Nash and Finley Roling; brother: Randy (Kathy) Miller; sister: Roxanne (Lyle) Noll; siblings-in-law: Clyde and Mary Kaye Wandrey; Mary Webber; Connie Wandrey; Mark and Wendy Wandrey; Sam Wandrey; Janette Woodke; David and MaryBeth Wandrey; nephews and nieces; extended family and friends
