Beverly Gustafson

Beverly Gustafson, age 80, of Storm Lake, Iowa died Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa. Memorial services will take place Friday, March 24, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Storm Lake. Burial will be in the Storm Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in STORM LAKE. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of arrangements. Beverly Jean Jackson was born October 11, 1942 to William and Joyce Jackson in Storm Lake, Iowa. She grew up attending school in Schaller, Iowa. She graduated from Storm Lake School in 1960. Beverly was a member of the United Methodist Church in Storm Lake. On November 27, 1960, Beverly was united in marriage to Charles Edmund Gustafson at the United Methodist Church. To this union, four children were born: Debbie, Mike, Scott, and Jaime. Together, Beverly and Charles worked on the farm outside of Storm Lake until 1987 when they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. Beverly worked as an office manager at a plumbing company for a number of years. The couple moved back to Storm Lake after retirement. Beverly loved traveling to visit her family, getting her nails done and shopping for a new purse with her daughters. Every week, Beverly met with a group of friends to play Bridge. She loved game nights with her friends and family. During the warm months, you could find Beverly working in her garden and canning her vegetables. She enjoyed watching movies with Charles and researching ancestry records. Beverly was a member of TOPS. Beverly will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Beverly is survived by her husband, Charles Gustafson of Storm Lake, Iowa; Children: Debbie (Jeff) Klatt; Mike (Kathy) Gustafson; Jaime (Robert) Katsikaris; Grandchildren: Jessica Greene; Megan (Matt) Spreacker; Allison (fiancé Colby) Lundgren; Derek (Hether) Gustafson; Trista (Jeff) Heinze; Lindsay (Casey) Klatt; Mackenzie (Adam) Nillies; Kayla Katsikaris; Nikko Katsikaris; Great Grandchildren: Kadin Greene; Adyson Greene; Bella Spreacker; Braylen Spreacker; Paige Lundgren; Bowen Stephens; Kinnick Klatt; Knox Klatt; Nora Klatt; Scotlynn Klatt; Calysta Klatt; Brayden Nillies; Jaxon Nillies; Ella Gustafson; Erin Gustafson; Lincoln Gustafson; Easton and Alaina Heinze; extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her son: Scott Gustafson; parents: Bill and Joyce Jackson; brother: Robert Jackson; and parents-in-law: Len and Dorothy Gustafson.
