Nancy Ledoux

Nancy Ledoux, age 80, of Storm Lake, Iowa died Thursday, July 20, 2023 at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake. Memorial services will take place Friday, July 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Mark Lutheran Church in Storm Lake. Burial will be in the Cedar Cemetery in Fonda, Iowa. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the CHURCH. Memorials may be directed to the St. Mark Lutheran Church in Storm Lake. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements. On December 17, 1942, Nancy Rae Stafford was born to Ray Kenneth and Gladys (Onnen) Stafford in Hartington, Nebraska. Growing up, Nancy attended Fonda Public School, graduating in 1961. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Christian faith. Most recently, Nancy was a member of the St. Mark Lutheran Church in Storm Lake, Iowa. Nancy worked in the Human Resources Department at Sara Lee in Storm Lake and was the co-owner of several businesses throughout her career. In her free time, she loved knitting and tending to her flower garden. She always looked forward to a fun game of Uno or Phase 10 with “the girls”. Nancy was an excellent cook and was well known for her potato salad. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Left to cherish Nancy’s memory include her daughters: Lori (Darwin) Needs of Le Mars, Iowa; Lana (Daniel) Evers of Rochester, Minnesota; Lisa (Tony) Chihak of Le Mars, Iowa; grandchildren: Breanne (Jeff) Mead of Sioux City, Iowa; Bryan (Kim) Needs of Carroll, Iowa; Baylee Needs of Iowa City, Iowa; Jennifer Evers of Rochester, Minnesota; Emily Chihak of Ankeny, Iowa; Alex Chihak of Le Mars, Iowa; great-grandchildren: Miles Mead; Callan Needs; brother: Dennis Stafford; nieces: Samantha Jacoby; Carrie Breedlove; nephew: Kenneth L. Stafford; great nieces: Raelee Stafford; Mackenzie Jacoby; Crimson Breedlove; and special friends: Linda Glienke; Charlotte Sundberg; Linda Myers. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ray Kenneth and Gladys Stafford; brother: Gail Stafford; and grandson: Joshua Evers.
