I can remember when I was a child, grandma rice (as we called her) sprung the tickets for my mum (Barbara) brother Rhys, sister Meredith and I to visit her. We stayed for 6 weeks and I only have fond memories of the time we spent together. She was a very strong woman, firm but fair. I still have her picture on my fridge at home. Its such a shame that the matriarch has gone, but her legacy continues in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and all of those lives that she touched while on this earth - Bronwyn, grand daughter.

I worked with Carol many years at Ken-a-Bob Buffet. What wonderful times of laughter we shared. My sympathy to the family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
