Paul Larry Graff, age 63, of Des Moines, Iowa and formerly of Early, Iowa, died Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake, Iowa.

Graveside services for Mr. Graff will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Early Union Cemetery. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements. There will be no visitation.

Larry, as he was known to friends and family, was born June 30, 1944 in Cumberland County, North Carolina, the son of Paul Lavere and Mary Belle (Jones) Graff. The family moved to Iowa and Larry received his education in the Early Community School. He spent his life working as a farm hand.

Larry enjoyed fishing and liked to work on cars. Spending time with his friends and family was always his favorite pasttime.

Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Steve Graff and Peg Ellis of Cherokee, Iowa; sisters Darla Weiland and Chris and husband Kevin Weifenbach, all of Storm Lake; seven nieces and nephews; 14 great-nieces and great-nephews; five great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; extended family and many friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and one great-niece, Kristen Hazen.
