Margaret O’Meara, age 36, of Schaller, Iowa died Easter Sunday, April 8, 2007 at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake, Iowa.

Funeral Mass for Miss O’Meara will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Schaller, concelebrated by Father Bruce Lawler and Father Larry Burns.  Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Schaller.  The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Schaller is in charge of the arrangements.

Friends may call Tuesday, April 10, 2007 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Schaller, where a parish vigil service will be held at 8:00.

Margaret Mary O’Meara, the daughter of Gerald and Rose (Eberhart) O’Meara, was born February 2, 1971 at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake. She was baptized and received her first Holy Communion at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Schaller. Margaret was profoundly handicapped and lived her entire life at home under the care of her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents; five brothers :  Michael (Shelly) O’Meara of Indianola, Iowa; John (Debbie) O’Meara of Rochester, Minnesota; Patrick (Vandy) O’Meara of Indianola; Tim O’Meara of Waukee, Iowa and Matthew O’Meara at home. Margaret is also survived by her two sisters: Jean (Paul) Knockel and Joanne (Brian) McEvoy, all of Fort Dodge, Iowa; as well as 14 nephews and nieces.

Margaret was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas.
