Ryon Ellefson, age 30, of Westside, Iowa and formerly of Storm Lake, Iowa, died Sunday, August 20, 2006 as the result of injuries received in a motorcycle accident.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 26, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Marks Lutheran Church in Storm Lake, with Reverend Connie Spitzack and Reverend Mark Youngquist co-officiating. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2006 at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, where the family will be present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Ryon Jay Ellefson was born June 24, 1976 in Winstead, Minnesota. He attended grade school in Storm Lake before graduating from New Creations High School in 1994. On June 17, 2006, Ryon was united in marriage to Victory Ward at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alta, Iowa. After they were married, Ryon and Victory made their home in Westside.

Ryon was employed as a corporate trainer at Liberty Food Service. He enjoyed outdoor activities, liked to water ski, motorcycling and riding his ATV at the farm. He enjoyed speed boating and fireworks. Ryon was a member of Pheasants Forever and Ducks Unlimited.

He will be remembered for his love of life and for living each day to its fullest. Ryon will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.

Ryon was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Graydon and Sarah Graham; paternal grandparents, Ernest and Eleanor Ellefson; uncle Terry Graham and uncle Jeff Ellefson.
