Loy Chaiyawong
Traditional Buddhist Rites were held at Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Burial was on Sunday, April 9, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Storm Lake Cemetery. Visitation was held at Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake on Friday, April 7, 2006 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Loy was born to Bunthan and Phan Chaiyawong on September 9, 1967 in Laos. He attended high school in Laos. He and his family left Laos in 1976 and went to Thailand until 1989 when they then came to America. He first resided in Sioux City, Iowa, then moved to Stockton, California, and came to Storm Lake in 1993 where he worked at IBP, which is currently known as Tyson Fresh Meats, Inc. Loy was a quiet and friendly person who loved his family and friends and enjoyed playing the guitar, hunting, and fishing. You will be missed by family and friends. Loy is survived by his dad, Bunthan; his mom, Phan; and his five brothers: Chanla in Laos, Tha, Keuy, Noi, and Koud of Storm Lake. May your soul rest in peace. |
