Walter F. Lullman

Walter F. Lullman, age 78, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died Saturday, April 9, 2005 at Methodist Manor in Storm Lake, Iowa.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in rural Storm Lake, with Reverend Tom Egger officiating. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.

Friends may call at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., where the family will be present from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Walter Fred Lullman was born April 10, 1926 to Henry Sr. and Louise (Boettcher) Lullman on the family farm. He lived with his family on the Lullman family farm in Grant Township, Buena Vista County. He was baptized on April 10, 1926, confirmed on March 29, 1942, and remained a life-long member of the Zion Lutheran Church in rural Storm Lake. Walter attended parochial school at Zion Lutheran School.

During his entire life, Walter farmed in Buena Vista County. He loved the farm as well as listening to the radio and going for rides. It was a great enjoyment of Walter’s to see the area livestock and crops on these rides.

Those left to cherish Walter’s memory include his brother Bill Lullman and wife Tootie of Storm Lake; sisters: Lil Cornell of Storm Lake, and Laura Bumann and husband Marvin of Storm Lake; sister-in-law Maxine Lullman; special friend Ella Wilson of Storm Lake; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Walter was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Lullman in 1973, his father Henry Lullman, Sr. in 1980; three brothers: George Lullman in infancy, Dick Lullman in 1991 and Henry Lullman, Jr. in 1999; and sister-in-law Beulah Lullman.
