Jacqueline M. Hansen Jacqueline M. Hansen, age 68, of Storm Lake, Iowa died at Methodist Manor in Storm Lake, Iowa on Monday, August 1, 2005.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 4, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa. Burial will be in the Newell Cemetery. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, where family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Jacqueline Merle Hansen was born October 17, 1936 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Harold J. (Hans) and Merle (Ruring) Hansen. She was baptized and confirmed in 1949 at the First Congregational Church in Newell. She lived with her parents in Newell, where she attended and graduated from Newell/Providence High School in 1954. Jackie furthered her education at the University of Northern Iowa (formerly Iowa Teacher’s College) in Cedar Falls, Iowa. During her years of education, Jackie participated in many activities including basketball, school newspaper, and school yearbook. She was a member of the Honor Roll and also received the honor of All-State Chorus. Jackie had been the Book Store Manager at Buena Vista University for years. She loved spending time with her family. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Melody A. Hansen of Dallas, Texas and Cheryl (David) Waggie of Wall Lake, Iowa; grandchildren: Amanda Lyn Waggie of Iowa City, Alison Kay Waggie of Orange City and Jason Dale Waggie of Wall Lake; as well as extended family and friends. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, Harold (Hans) and Merle Hansen, aunts and uncles. |
