Margie Peck, age 76, of Alta, Iowa died Monday, April 5, 2004 at Buena Vista Manor in Storm Lake, Iowa.

Christian Services will be held Thursday, April 8, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, with Father Bruce Lawler officiating.

Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, where a Rosary Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. and a Parish Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. The family will be present from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Margie Pauline Peck, the daughter of Harding and Carrie Fitchett Hansen, was born July 3, 1927 in Newell, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in the Newell and Storm Lake communities, where she received her education.

Marge married Louis John Peck on July 30, 1946 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Storm Lake, Iowa. Throughout their marriage they lived and worked in the Storm Lake, Newell and Alta communities. Marge sold Stanley products for years, as well as running a clothing store for many more years. For enjoyment, she taught ceramic and painting to many nice people in the Alta community. Marge loved sales and meeting new people. She made time to go fishing and bowling with her family, and she enjoyed her grandchildren, who were a very special part of her life.

Marge is survived by her children: Billy Jo Peck of Sioux City, IA, Mary and husband Tim King of Phoenix, AZ; Greg Peck and wife Judy of St. James, MN, Theresa and husband Doug Stugard of Laurens, IA, Jeff Peck of Alta, IA, and Randy and wife Becky Peck of Phoenix, AZ; 19 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Betty and husband Edgar Eickhoff of Newell, IA and Ruby Rose and husband Loren Piercy of Storm Lake, IA; one brother: Kenneth and his wife Mary Hansen of Lakeside, IA; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends and special friends at Buena Vista Manor.

Preceding Marge in death were her parents and her husband.
