Anna Nou Thiphasouk Anna Nou Thiphasouk, age 64, of Storm Lake, Iowa died on Sunday, July 18, 2004 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Storm Lake, with Father Lowrey officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery at Storm Lake. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements. Friends may call at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake on Friday, July 23, 2004 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Anna was born on August 23, 1939 to Vanla and Khammy Syharath in Paksane, Laos, and baptized into the Roman Catholic faith on August 26, 1939. She was married to Keo Thiphasouk on May 1, 1957 in Paksane. Their union was blessed with six sons and three daughters. Anna was a loving wife, devoted mother, treasured grandmother, caring great-grandmother, precious sister and aunt, who delighted in making a warm and comfortable home for her family. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and being outdoors. She will be remembered by her children as the “best Mother” for which they could have asked. Left to cherish Anna’s memory are her husband, Keo Thiphasouk of Storm Lake; sons: Eddie Thiphasouk and wife Sarah of Sioux City, Iowa, Allen Thiphasouk of Storm Lake, Lee Thiphasouk and wife Vawn of Ames, Iowa, and Phokham Thiphasouk and fiancee Tina of Storm Lake; daughters: Bountheo Thiphasouk and husband Kham of Laos, Bounnong Phakonekham of Storm Lake, Bounyong Chounlamany and husband Seng of Storm Lake; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; her brother, Khamla Syharath and wife Bounraphanh of Algona, Iowa; and sister, Khamphay Sayavang and husband Soa of Storm Lake. Preceding Anna in death were her parents; sons: Bounthan Thiphasouk and Khamvhanh Thiphasouk; brother, Khamphay Syharath; and her sister, Bouanlay Syharath. |
