Kaen Khaoorn Kaen Khaoorn, age 84, died on Saturday, March 1, 2003 at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake, Iowa. Funeral services for Kaen Khaoorn will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2003 at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake with Pastor Barry Thongvanh officiating. Burial will be in the Storm Lake Cemetery. Kaen Khaoorn was born May 2, 1918 in Sayaboury, Laos to Tee and Bova Khaoorn. He grew up with his parents on a farm in Sayaboury, Laos. He married Keo Khaoorn and had one son, Sai Khaoorn who resides in Laos. Following Keo’s death, Kaen married Sei Khaoorn and had 10 children. During his working years, Kaen was a farmer in Laos. He was a member of the Christian faith. Kaen is survived by his wife, Sei Khaoorn; four sons: Sai Khaoorn, Khio Khaoorn, Peter Khaoorn, and La Khaoorn; one daughter, Mord Khaoorn; three sisters: One Khaoorn, age 109 years, Noy Khaoorn, age 98 years, and Sy Imboua, age 81 years; and other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Keo and six children. |
