Deborah
D. Schall, age 54, of Storm Lake died Saturday, October 25, 2003 at
the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake of complications
of multiple sclerosis.
Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, October 30th at 10:00 a.m. at
St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Storm Lake with Reverend Bruce
Lawler officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Storm
Lake.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 29th after 3:00 p.m. at
the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, where the family
will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be a Legion of Mary Rosary
at 3:30 p.m. and a Parish Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral
home. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial gifts be made
to the St. Mary’s Alumni Association, PO Box 1106, Storm Lake,
IA 50588.
Deborah Diane McCoy the daughter of Jesse Elwon McCoy and Dorothy
Ann (McGarr) McCoy was born June 13, 1949 at Sioux City, Iowa. She
graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Storm Lake with the
class of 1967.
On June 29, 1985 she was united in marriage to James Anthony Schall
in Storm Lake.
Deb was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church where
she participated in the choirs and was a member of the St. Mary’s
Alumni Association and St. Mary’s Boosters.
She is survived by her husband, James, her father and step-mother,
Jesse and Millie McCoy of Fonda, her children, Jennifer Paulsen and
her husband Chuck of Cedar Falls, IA, Christopher Cameron and his
wife, Alison of Palmetto, FL, Jeremy Cameron and his wife, Jackie
of Quantico, VA, Erin Schall of Dallas, TX, Rebecca Crass and her
husband, Chad of Grafton, WI, grandchildren Meagan, Eathan, Kaitlyn
and Aidan Cameron, Thomas Paulsen and Tyler Crass. Also surviving
are a brother, Bill McCoy and his wife, Jackie of Norfolk, NE, three
sisters, Kerry Noethe and her husband, Terry of Fonda, Susan Sippel
of Clive, IA, Anne Smith and her husband, Jerry of Storm Lake, along
with many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Deb was preceded in death by her grandparents, her mother, Dorothy
McGarr McCoy, twin granddaughters, Lucile and Lillith Paulsen and
by her brother-in-law, Larry Sippel.
