Clint Horlacher
A visitation will be held Sunday, September 21, 2003 after 4:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home. The family will be present from 6:00 until 8:00 at the Funeral Home where there will be a Masonic Service held at 7:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family via the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home website. Clint Horlacher was born on February 26, 1905 to James N. and Mary (Manning) Horlacher on the same farm on which he lived his life. He was a graduate of Storm Lake High School and Iowa State College in Ames and was a member of the Chi Phi Faternity. In 1929 he married Mildred Sharp. Clint was the founding owner and operator of Mellow Dent Hybrid Seed Corn Company, and was a farmer his entire life. He was a member of the Storm Lake United Methodist Church, past president of the Buena Vista County Farm Bureau, a member of the Truesdale Farmers Club, a 32nd-degree Mason, a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of the AbuBekr Shrine Temple. Survivors include his daughter, Polly and husband Frank Fabrizio of Storm Lake, and a grandson, Clint Randell, of Clover, SC. Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, Mildred, and a sister, Elizabeth. A memorial fund for the Charles Wm. Leighton, Jr., Hospice, 319 W. Grant, Wilcox, AZ 85643, has been established in Mr. Horlacher’s honor. |
